THE SHY PLUTOCRAT

By

Pub Date: July 9th, 1941

Ephemeral timepasser -- laid in the 1920's. Bland concoction wherein young, super-wealthy Maurice Teyl, loses his shyness when he takes on a false identity and finds he can be accepted for himself and not his money. When the impersonation is threatened, he proceeds to impersonate his real self, and gets so involved that he is forced to continue to help others out of trouble. Eventually, things are untangled and everything is jake. Not up to Oppenheim's best. Rentals.
