PRIMER FOR PREGNANCY by E. Stanton Featheringill

PRIMER FOR PREGNANCY

By

Pub Date: Nov. 6th, 1951
Publisher: Simon & Schuster

A comforting, sound, woman-to-woman appraisal of the long portage in which the author alternates a goodly portion of physiological information with pep-talks designed to allay anxieties and fears bound to arise during this period. Generally accepted precepts concerning diet, sleep, personal habits, suggestions about clothes and daily health routines are included as well as information about the more startling physical changes from conception to actual labor. The approach is informal, breezy with a good deal of humor, and the author, who has had three children herself, has understated, rather than ignored, the familiar discomforts and has anticipated some of the common glooms. Bearable information for an expanding market.
