KIRKUS REVIEW

The sheep country of Montana is the setting for this dog story. Ricardo, a collie, is suspected of being a killer and only his master believes him innocent. Besides hair-raising battles with grizzlies and panthers there is a stirring sub-plot featuring a city gangster. All criminals -- men and beasts -- meet the unequivocal justice of the wilderness. Not bad at all.
