THE SECRETARY'S HANDBOOK AND OFFICE MANUAL

By

Pub Date: July 26th, 1940
Publisher: Doubleday, Doran

Not a vocational self-help book for the untutored secretary, but a reference book which should prove invaluable, stressing facts rather than etiquette. Topically arranged, information presented by paragraphs under heading, with test questions at close of each chapter imparting a miscellany of valuable information. Letters, spelling, form, grammar, mailing, telephone, telegraph, cable, filing, office machines, reference books, editing, proof reading, etc. Deviates from stereotyped book in such matters as including postal rate information, kinds of cables, etc. Good job.
