SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSONS 1945

By

Publisher: Macmillan

Despite the increasing use of Graded Lessons in Protestant Sunday Schools most such schools still base their teaching upon the Uniform Lessons. For many years many Sunday school teachers were indebted to Dr. James H. Snowden for his commentaries on the Uniform Lessons published in book form. They should be equally grateful for the help given by Dr. Earl L. Douglas who now edits this annual volume. Comments and interpretations were given on each lesson text without any particular doctrinal slant but with the commendable practical purpose of inditing how the Biblical material may be used in teaching. The lessons for 1945 cover the Gospel of Matthew (first Quarter), a general review of the entire Biblical story (second Quarter), the Book of Genesis (third quarter), and ""The Christian and His Relationships"" (fourth quarter).
