SIERRA QUEST

Mace Donnegan and Wint Phillips set out to find a famous nutritionist, Dr. Martin who has crashed in his plane on Mt. Whitney- and the boys' adventures make a western more humorous than most. They are beset by high grader (one who sneaks good ore from mines) Rave Farrol- the troubles of their cat Ptolemy- the need to get themselves and Doc Martin who has been surviving on Nutribs, out of a shaft before it's blown up. They accomplish things with a satisfying kind of nonchalance that doesn't disguise real urgency and reward money helps them start a pack team.
