THE PEEVISH PENGUIN by Earle Goodenow

THE PEEVISH PENGUIN

By

Publisher: Follett

Earle Goodenow (see Cow Voyage, The Lazy Llama and others) moves north for a practical penguin story that provides the same old tickle to the funny bone. Apart from all the others, one little penguin is mad at himself and the world and discovers the inability to fly as the cause of his discontent. Instead of learning how to adjust (praises be) he finds a hill he can scoot down with a rise that flips him up and out over the ocean. Happily, the other penguins benefit from his discovery. Icy black and blue pictures by the author. Weak stitching.
