KIRKUS REVIEW

Mrs. Kangaroo is a very loving mother, but she is as forgetful as she is tender. One day while walking in the forest, she realizes that she has forgotten her baby and taken along a Koala Bear instead. Together, the two wander through the forest chatting with the animals along the way, until finally she and her child are happily reunited. A story well within every child's grasp, enhanced by a generous introduction to the Australian animal world, and illustrated with altogether appealing pictures by the author.
