KIRKUS REVIEW

International undercurrents seldom seemed more devious than in this self-consciously tricky spy novel. A Cuban plane is hijacked and ditched leaving rescue operations to Commander Perry, who hosts a Navy boat in the area. Among the survivors are one Andrei Aksynof, Russian with a suspicious passport and a mysterious semi-drugged man who could have been ""the world's most wanted individual."" Before this book heaves into port the C.L.A has been classified first villain, then dupe, and Perry has to battle a ""Russian Spy"" tag appended to his name. S.O.S. . . . Spate of Spies.
