KIRKUS REVIEW

Three stories of the 87th Precinct center around the activities of Carella, Cotton Dawes, Meyer and Kling. The title story traces a murdered girl and reveals an impersonation; ""J"" hinges on anti-Semitism and the killing of a rabbi; Storm takes place at a skiing resort and Dawes, with his metropolitan training, has trouble with the local police when a girl is found dead on the lift. Brisk.
