A ""selective, not exhaustive"" collection of Dickens' writings on the theatre-- on plays, actors and acting-- but which does not include his own writing for the stage. Here are the Sketches by and excerpts from the novels that apply. There is also a prologue which follows Dickens' own association with the theatre, from his first playgoing, through his Sketches, playwriting, and public reading.
