A toad who wants to get married -- a gibbon who is a dandy --a shrewmouse who runs a charm school are only a few of the delightful animals introduced in rhythmic verses that are equally humorous and imaginative. The sing-song tempo combines with the farcical situations to produce a sprightly, gay atmosphere that no hard-to-read word can diminish. Children who may not understand every word will be almost as captivated as their more sophisticated friends. Light and fluffy fare for the entertainment hour.
