LOVE STORIES OF INDIA

Fifteen short stories of exotic love and adventure for the Walter Mitty minded, these display tiger hunts, dusky jungle maidens and pukka British Sahibs, with never an unsatisfactory ending. Much of the material has had previous magazine appearance and the threadbare patterns are handled with the dexterity of the really slick writer who knows his business down to the last O. Henry ending. A brief foreword to each story gives something of the literary mechanics which went into it, the author's own opinions, etc. For escapists, romanticists, this is chiefly rentable.
