LOG CABIN CHILDREN by Edith L. Johnson

LOG CABIN CHILDREN

By

Publisher: Lothrop, Lee & Shepard

A good story of the dangers of three children who live in the Michigan wilderness with their father, who is desperately sick through most of the book. Their responsibility is great when the Indians rise up in the first part of the War of 1812 and they must count on help from friendly Tail Feather. Although there are many exciting passages, the book is chiefly memorable for its warm family feeling and the ability of the children to cope with their problems.
