THE RED DOOR

From small brownstone to one of the upper floors of a modern high-rise apartment-- Peter accepted the move with total aplomb. There was only one problem: all the accoutrements of his old bedroom were the same, except that now he just had a plain white door instead of the special big red door he had before. The book may be of some comfort to a very young child who is bewildered at the prospect of moving; however the device of the door seems rather artificial and offhand.
