Contending that the ""Woman Problem"" in America is second only to the prunning ""Negro Problem,"" there is some justification for still another study of the American female even though it contains more ""controversy"" than ""solutions."" The hook on which the discussion in hung is that since the Freudian ethic of social eterminism has replaced the Protestant ethic of individual responsibility, women as not managed to fully realize her ""emancipation."" Following the myth of Psyche and Eros, the author encourages the full development of femininity along with a little masculine independence. She suggests a bloodless revolution in which a little more individuality and education, and a little less sex in the office, will be attained. Logical and sensible, to be sure.
