Catfish the cat zooms out of Nevermind in his fast red car and into another hold-on-tight adventure when he picks up a lovely little lady cat and three awful-awfuls named Slam-bang, Slip-slop and Slurp. ""These are bad, bad cats,"" whispers the lady, Miss Pan-Dora Many Pennies, as they zip along the highway. ""They kidnapped me."" And soon there's a police car in chase, a struggle for the wheel, a SLAM BAM CRUNCH as the car crashes and a WHOO-WHOO as the bad cats tie Catfish on the tracks in the path of the Kalamazoo train. But the town of Nevermind is aptly named and true to expectations Police Chief Mighty Mince Meat rescues Catfish, Catfish rescues the lady, and -- with daddy Many Pennies' reward -- Catfish replaces his wrecked car with an even faster one in which he takes Miss Pan-Dora for ""many rides."" No apology, no excuse, just a fast streak along the previously plotted (1970) Catfish route for kiddie-car speed demons.
