IT'S SNOWING

Snow on the farm where Billy lives and snow in the city where Benjamin lives mean both trouble and fun. For Mr. Mopper who plowed the city streets it meant extra work. For Benjamin it meant a chance to build a snowman in the city park. For farm boy Billy it meant doing the chores so that his father could plow the snow off the roads. And for the Weather Man and the animals of the woods, it was a prediction come true. Black and white illustrations are by Clement Hurd. This has more pull as a primary science tool than as a story book. It is too simple for upper elementary grades.
