I, TOO, JEHOVAH

The impact of modern life on a deeply sensitive, compassionate and emotionally immature nature is depicted in this small volume of verse by a newcomer on the poetic scene. Football Fantasia, the Circus in Town, Grand Central, as well as the title poem give some idea of the themes which obsess him. The imagery is often strong and striking, there are indications of a defined personal rhythm, but the total impression is of a crude, unfinished art, which demands the discipline of time and experience.
