LAND FROM THE SEA

A story of modern Holland where Dirk and Krisje Appeldoorn play on the Zuider Zee. The draining of the dykes is fascinating for them to watch as they know that soon rich farm land will be reclaimed from the sea, and that their father will be a farmer instead of a fisherman. When this actually happens they have as much fun working and playing on the farm as they used to have in the water.
