DEMOCRACY, TODAY AND TOMORROW

This is an historical survey of the development of democracy, from its earliest beginnings, through the effect on democracy of the World War, and the League of Nations. Then the intrusion of antidemocratic ideologies, with the keenest analysis and definition of the fundamental theses and the fundamental points of divergence between author tarianism and democracy and German National Socialism and communism. Not a personal book, nor even a book about Czechoslovakia and the Nazis, but a theoretical and historical survey by the man who was leader of the model world democracy, and whose name will carry weight wherever democracy is under discussion.
