KIRKUS REVIEW

Of Harper Blayne, who heads west after the Civil War to find the bushwhackers who had murdered his brother, and takes on an undercover mission for his former General in the opening up of a new territory with a new railroad. In and out of favor with Martha, the General's daughter, captured by the Indians, arrested for a murder and a robbery he did not commit, Blayne extricates himself each time and finally identifies his enemy, gets his girl.... Some standard situations, smoothly controlled.
