This is the second trip this season for the Four Little Children, the first for the minor menagerie along the shores of Pipple-Popple. With the utmost felicity and confusion the seven sets of well-meaning parents and seven sets of normally curious and disobedient offspring blunder in orange and green line on the end thirds of the book, magenta in the center. Some kids know about faster trips and many of the allusions are no longer precisely relevant but we suspect adults will still stumble as the storks chatterclatterblatterplatterpatterblattermatterblatter, and that is always-timely timing.
