KIRKUS REVIEW

State by state, town by town, things to see, places to go, when they are open, costs, etc. Major space devoted to things of horticultural interest, gardens, etc., with brief section on famous trees. Not complete, but reference is made to source of information as to special garden days, seasonal interest, where to secure the information and when. A good travel companion for any garden enthusiast bound anywhere in the United States, and within limits, Canada. The illustrations are rather trying, in the fact that frequently they bear little relation to the section in which they are placed.
