KIRKUS REVIEW

al Banner tracked his late wife's last lover to Pittamooka, an Australian pal mining area, with the idea of simply killing the man who had caused her death. The struggle of the community to organize itself forces Banner to refine his concept of justice and his own stake in civilized society. He is forced to choose between two factions: the first wants to bring order to the isolated sprawl of families and the other can only survive in lawlessness. Excellent action/adventure in territory that Lindall knows well.
