Not a novel, but a series of unconnected flashes, describing the members of a class of high school graduates, now functioning in varied fields from Coast to Coast. The whole adds up (if it adds up to anything) to what America is thinking, saying, doing. Tares, cutting, in modern impressionistic manner, for a cross view of typical Americans, up and down the social ladder. Difficult to read for its deliberate unconsecutiveness. A little on the stunt book side.
