KIRKUS REVIEW

Probably the full humor of this (or shall we say tragedy?) is apparent only to those who have experienced it. But it would take a most dour-minded reader, of any age, not to get some chuckles out of this episodic reporting of the agonies of the bride's father- from his early parental reactions to beaux, to the post-wedding letdown. Recommended to brides who are sure their fathers wont be out of the picture.
