an I tell ya"" (the central character speaks the kind of American which could only occur to an Englishman) this is a noxious on-the-road-on-the-run account of Frederick St. John Lloyd-Forbes' (need we indicate his point of origin?) who travels through the New Mexican mesas and mesquite in the hands of a killer. They meet a ""jelloidal creature"" called Mae, good for fellatio if nothing else, and a couple of real Indians before Frederick St. John Lloyd-Forbes is free to catch the Santa Fe Chief. One ""for the lavatory roll in the haversack.
