Informative, and at the same time informal in presentation, this is a good background book for the uninitiated, for the prospective traveler, and for use in schools, colleges, study groups. Contains an appendix listing facts and figures. The format is disappointing, the volume is heavy. Excellent type -- but photographic reproduction is not up to today's standards.
