THE TORN LETTER

Yeller mellerdrama in the shape of a mystery novel, -- more novel than mystery. June returns from Europe to find that immediate marriage to her fiance, Med, holds appeal. So she postpones it for the time being by serving on the jury of a murder trial. As the trial progresses, June recognizes her fiance in the character of the mysterious third party involved as murderer, and only his death saves him recognition of brown entertainment, not up to Edwin Balmer's standards.
