Eight ""segments"" of the church's program are presented here, with case, reports of programs carried on in each area by a church: Missions, Christian Education, Counseling, Evangelism, Fellowship, Music, Social Action, and Worship. The cases offered are uncritically selected and described, with the result a certain incompatibility of underlying premises. The main criterion seems to be the ""success"" of each program, although how this is measured is not indicated very clearly. Study guides and bibliographies are provided, and outlines of plans for setting up similar programs in interested churches. The book may have use for churches interested in developing a program of activities but not at the point of probing deeply their reasons for doing so.
