The Christian Manifesto was hailed as a great contribution by all Protestants. The author has written here an even clearer statement of the faith to which he holds and preaches. It is a fearless examination of essentials, a challenge to the church, the priests and congregations, but it also holds a challenge for the man in the streets. Edwin Lewis preaches a gospel he can understand. It is an intelligent gospel, intellectual but not ""high hat"", demanding but worth the price. It offers a chance to support a Leader capable of overcoming sin and offering eternal life. The foundation is firmly laid for him to build his faith. A good book for the clergy to take on vacation or to recommend to their parishioners.
