POO AND THE BABY BUNNY RABBIT

This rates about zero with me- I didn't like anything about it. The conception of a friendship and interchange of visit - (and food) between a boy and a baby rabbit somehow comes up against a block in even the most fervid imagination. And there's a sor' of belittling in the use diminutives- ""the baby bunny rabbit"" becomes the ""outest little baby bunny rabbit"" and so on. The search for the rabbit's home through conversation with the farm animals is a more or less standard pattern.
