TEEN THEATRE

An excellent introductory compendium of stage information complete with material on the basic essentials of all aspects of play producing and six royalty free one act plays. Apt job appraisals include outlines of directing, scenery, props, costumes, lighting, business and publicity, not only in theory but with some practical examples. The authors' plays, some of them adaptations from stories in Seventeen are designed for a variety of situations- small, large or all girl casts, a play within a play, a special scenery problem. They deal with modern American Youth- a teen-age party, a family joke, social recognition, an amateur show.
