INDIANS OF THE AMERICAS

Early Americas and Americans by an authority on the subject. There is much to be learned of the material and spiritual civilization and culture of the Maya, Aztec, Inca and the North American Great Plains, Iroquois and Pueblo Indians, in this re-creation of their life and times, their rise, decline, and fall, with the background of the cause of their power and ruin. The white man's part in Indian history and the recent attempts at bettering Indian conditions are included. Makes interesting, if somewhat specialized, reading and is a worthy addition to Indian material.
