KIRKUS REVIEW

The author of Grassroot Jungles has done the best general book on insects that I have seen. Not only does he cover the main classifications, but he goes into details of equipment, of photography, of flashlight hunting, of insect zoos, insect music and so on. A good basic book for nature study, and a must book for any boy -- or girl -- who has the collecting instinct.
