THIRTEEN TOY PISTOLS

Bob Ferguson, fronting as a lawyer in a small New Jersey town, undertakes to spot a million dollar insurance thief among its residents, and finds himself involved in a double murder. Antagonising the local law, Ferguson clears the sheriff's candidate for the chair, but gets his insurance thief and his killer in a courtroom finale. Adequate but somehow mechanical.
