IRISH SAGES AND FOLK TALES

Included in Oxford's second title of the Myths and Legends series (see James Reeves English Fables and Fairy Stories reported on p. 752 of the last issue) are some twenty tales from various periods in Ireland's legendary history. Main headings in the book divide the stories into those ""From the Dawn of Time"", ""In the Time of Cu-chullin"", ""In the Time of Finn and the Fianna"" and ""Tales for the Chimney Corner"".
