HANNAH ELIZABETH by Elaine Sommers Rich

Email this review

For ten-year-old Hannah Elizabeth Shrock, life in Indiana amidst countless relatives was a busy, exciting affair. Very few of Hannah's school friends lived near her home; the Shrocks, Mennonites and farmers lived far out in the country. For ten, Hannah may seem extremely naive to some of her contemporaries, and while her moments of great fear and tension may be important to her, they will seem ridiculously out of proportion to some readers who will have difficulty in identifying with her increased awareness of God and religion in her pastoral life.
