ALL THINGS CONSIDERED by Elaine Sterne Carrington

ALL THINGS CONSIDERED

By

Pub Date: Nov. 15th, 1939
Publisher: Messner

A collection of short stories, most of which have appeared in popular magazines, and which represent realism as it proved acceptable to the mass of women readers outside the larger centers. The stories are too slight to merit permanency in book form, perhaps, but they serve as a milestone in the history of periodical output, and date a bit today. Mrs. Carrington has a sure touch in characterizations; she has a gift for dialogue; she packs a good deal of poignancy into her situations. Her backgrounds vary from town to country. Her name is best known today as the creater of various popular radio skits, -- Red Davis, Pepper Young's Family, etc.
