KIRKUS REVIEW

Stanley High, Frank Kingdon, G. L. Walsh, S. J., Swami Nikhilananda and Louis Finkelstein, PhD., write from their different experiences of the faith we need today, and are introduced by George V. Denny, Jr., President of the Town Hall, Inc., who finds, in spite of the wide diversification of expression and details, the common fundamentals on which Protestant, Catholic, Jew and Hindu all agree. Interesting but unimportant, as most symposiums are, for all save those intrigued with the idea of lightly scratching the surface of the field of comparative religions. The price seems high but perhaps clients won't mind paying -- for they can certainly take their choice.
