Parents will like the quiet charm of thin bedtime book which is a verse prayer for all the small now things that need God's care. E.O. Jones has drawn appealing illustrations in subdued coloring, crayon effect, a double spread for each of the half-dozen verses. Children will look at the picture with enjoyment, but the text won't hold them, and both text and pictures are distinctly inferior to Margaret Wise Brown's moving Child's Good Night Book with the unique Charlot lithographs...In merchandise value, this seems scarcely worth three times and more the price of the Little Golden Books. There's a quality to the pictures that adults will like -- but they are not really childlike.
