KIRKUS REVIEW

Here is a book on the high cost of loving, attempting to smooth out the money problem in marriage and to show how to ""mix dollars and sense"" and come out ahead on the game. Not a how-to-do-it book, but a gay and pert study of some of the aspects, from dollar diplomacy to general expenditures, food, rent, clothes; buying on the installment plan; credit; the pitfalls of the joint bank account; the benefits of the savings bank account. Helpful outline ideas, rather than exact itemizing.
