MAYFLY

The book is as full of action as Mayfly, the grey pony, who is his owner, Tony's pride and joy. Much valuable information on the care and treatment of horses is embodied in the story of a Riding School run by a typically English family after they lose all their money yet will not part with their five horses. Kindness to animals is stressed throughout the book and if for no other reason I should heartily recommend it to every novice. It is a corking good story though for children. I loved it!
