Lack of action and paucity of suspects makes it pretty laggardly and guessable, but there are some that like these meticulously English mysteries. The setting is nice, when the head of Oxford's notorious tart is found in the biscuit tin in the room of a student who has been sent down. Scotland Yard and a girl reporter to the rescue.
