PLANTATION ON THE POTOMAC

Another title in the Yesterday and Today Series, and one that will appeal more to the average child than the title above. The period is that of Williamsburg's heyday, and a family of children are uprooted from the life of the town and sent to a plantation, where to their surprise they find that life is teeming with interest. Through the story one gets a good idea of a self- sustaining plantation in Colonial Virginia.
