D KING'S HIGHWAY

Here we have story is form of the and labor of a . The energy speed is of his life and California. Those were the days when the Spanish conquistadores thought that the only good Indian was a dead Indian and when there was fierce and bloody fighting between the various Indian tribes. Amidst all of these bitter struggles of the pioneer days of the great Southwest moved this patient priest and his associates, mediating, conciliting, teaching, preaching, pointing these people of primitive passions to something higher and more substantial. The tale makes interesting reading not only for Catholics but for all who are anxious to know something of the spiritual foundations of that part of our country, and for all who like a good story of adventure, well told.
