THE DISPUTED BARRIER

The age-old problem of the ""other woman"" as it affects young Ursula's marriage to David when her love and trust are poisoned by the hold his old love, Christine, seems to have over him. And not only is David apparently caught by Christine's appeal, but his best friend, the painter Claude, turns into Christine's firmest champion. Christine's behavior and increasing demands on David send Ursula to northern Canada to get her mother's guidance, and on her return she learns the story of Christine's mental unbalance and is able to face her suicide and the defeat of all Christine's influence from the past. A better and more intelligent approach than soap opera, but petticoat pablum just the same. Rentals.
