THE SUMMER AT RAVEN'S ROOST

A convertible mystery romance in which Heather who only got forty dollars a week working a gift shop, gets twice as much to take care of her bitchy cousin Sylvia's child Robin who has been both neglected and spoiled. Then there's Sylvia's husband Carter with this losing combination on his hands until he wins Heather's (unacknowledged) love and aid in clearing him on a murder charge. More generously plotted than many which is all you can say if you're trying to say anything at all while being generous.
