. . .But I could still feel things""--and smell, and hear, and taste; and after Bram's little girl (the same clever figure she trots out for every book) names some of the tastes (the sourness of lemonade [?], the sweetness of raisons), smells (flowers, bread baking, a pine tree), and so on, "". . .I opened my eyes again [and] the world had all come back."" Bram's little fancy is agreeably simple and childlike as usual, but her lists are too routine to give it that necessary extra push.
